Our Story

Eric Ebsch began his journey as a painter, working tirelessly to bring beauty and functionality to homes across Cleveland. But he noticed a gap in the market: homeowners often had to juggle multiple contractors for different projects, leading to frustration and inconsistency. Eric envisioned a company that could do it all, interior and exterior painting, cabinet refinishing, roofing, flooring, siding, and window installation under one roof.

With that vision, Desirable Companies was born. Over the years, we’ve expanded our services and expertise, but our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction has never wavered. Today, Eric serves as our CEO and estimator, bringing his hands-on experience and passion for home improvement to every project we undertake.

I love the professional work from Desirable Paintings and Floors! I had my whole house painted and I feel like I am in a new home!!!! No mess no fuss!!! I was able to speak with their on staff color consultant regarding ideal colors for my open floor plan!!! I selected the Affordable Gray paint color and I love it! The painters are very respectful, professional and efficient! The administrative staff are awesome as well! Thank you Eric, Steve and Heidi! Highly recommend Desirable Paintings and Floors!

Great personal service and attention to detail... even handled my "nit picking" like it wasn't even nit picking! Very professional and courteous while in our home. They put in new floors, painted cabinets and almost every room on the first and second floors. They did a great job and did everything they could to make sure we were happy! Owner/managers stopped in regularly to touch base and see how the work was going. Would definitely recommend and will be using them for the outdoor projects in the spring!

I was disappointed to see Desirable Painting hanging advertisements on utility poles throughout Strongsville. This kind of posting is not only an eyesore, but it also appears to go against city ordinances regarding signage on public property. It shows a lack of professionalism and respect for the community and local rules. If a company is willing to ignore basic city regulations just to advertise, it makes me question how seriously they take other rules or standards. There are plenty of ways to market a business without cluttering public spaces or potentially violating local laws. I would not recommend a company that operates this way.

On January 22, Zach and his two person crew did a terrific job with our painting project. They arrived early and were very efficient. They prepped and repainted two bath vanities which had never been refinished. The result is great. The corner bedroom looks brand new. The office looks better than ever. All care was taken for cleanliness and everything was moved back in a good position. In addition to the professionalism, Zach proved to be a good teacher as we heard him instructing members of his crew. We highly recommend Desirable Companies. Gil and Joan Miller

I would recommend Desirable Painting in a heart beat! Stephen the rep that came to the house was thorough, prompt and came back with a quote quickly and was on top of all the questions whenever there was one. They are very professional and the rooms that they painted look clean, crisp and fresh.

All painting of the ceilings of my recently purchased home are beautiful, bright, and beautifully done. The ceilings of the foyer, hallway, den, kitchen and great room were painted. The prep work and clean up were also fabulous. The painters were very detailed with their work and highly professional. I highly recommend Desirable Companies for their wonderful painting and workmanship.

Project manager was Zach. Very pleased (Ok- thrilled!) with the results. Very professional and worked very, very efficiently. We feel the price was very reasonable. Our contacts with the work crew, initial estimator, and home office were very professional and efficient. We suggested a change order and within 30 minutes the changes were documented and ready for my approval and signature. I have never worked with a company that has been so efficient. Wonderful communication with the customer.

I contracted Desirable to install luxury vinyl flooring, paint an entire condo including walls, trim, doors, kitchen and bath cabinets and ceilings. I wanted to hire one contractor who could do the entire project in a reasonable time frame for a fair price. Joe the salesperson was fantastic as was Steve the project manager who was communicative, timely and very helpful. I never had such good communication from a contractor, and I've used many over the years. The most common response I heard from everyone was " we want you to be happy and will do whatever it takes to make that happen". They were all about doing the right thing and that's the best customer service I could ask for. The flooring turned out great, the painting initially needed some touch up in a few spots, but they happily did that and the result was a professional beautiful job. Actually, to me their response is what sets them apart from anyone else. Eric the owner even came out and helped on a Sunday afternoon to get the job completed on time. Bryan their painting technician was very helpful and took his time making the completed job look fantastic. I highly, highly recommend this company and will tell all my friends and relatives that they only need to make one call, to Desirable Companies. Their work, communication, timelines, professionalism, response time and concern have to be the best in the industry. I've found my contractor for life and if you are looking, look no further. You rarely find this with any kind of contractor and you can't get better than this. Save yourself some time and hire this great company.
